Once upon a fairy time, there was a beautiful fairy named Madam Vu. Madam Vu was one of the few fairies who loved visiting our world. The three things she liked doing most when she came visiting, were listening to our secrets, tasting our fruits, and smelling our flowers. She always came alone though because she could never find another fairy who wanted to come anywhere close to the Grenah Deen. (Thats what the fairies call that hazy place where their world meets ours).
Madam Vu had two daughters. The older fairling was named
Twilight, because that was the time of day fairies liked most, and the younger fairling was
named Pinks the colors during twilight.
But like most fairies, neither one of them
wanted to know anything about the Grenah Deen. Or us.
Now early one frosty morning, exactly twenty spring moons have come and gone since a single flower somewhere in the Grenah Deen has last bloomed. The flower called the Oradera. A flower so rare and so alluring and so dangerous. Dangerous, because every fairy knew that if this flowers sweet scent was deeply inhaled, ones eyesight was sure to be lost. And every fairy, at least once in their life, has asked the question: "so then what's the point of visiting this pointless flower?"
But fluttering about in her tree, Madam Vu was preparing for her journey to greet this great 'pointless' flower. And after many damp hours of traveling in darkness, Madam Vu finally arrived at the Oradera tree. Surprised she wasn't, to find that she was the only one there to witness this rare floral event.
