Whenever Oradera’s large, droopy wings weren't being stomped on, fun was being made of the way her long, crooked antennas hung over her strange colored eyes. When Oradera tried to straighten out her antennas, they would only become more crooked, and when she tried to make her wings look smaller, they would only become more wrinkled. And of course this made the other fairies laugh even more.

    So poor Oradera, she never even had the chance to make any friends, and because she was in fact different, she grew up believing that she was indeed ugly as everyone laughed at her to be. It didn't matter what Madam Vu said to her, it didn't matter what her heart said to her - Oradera was truly ugly.

    As if life wasn't tough enough for this young fairy, on Oradera’s tenth spring moon, Madam Vu fell ill and soon passed away. Twilight and Pinks were instructed to raise Oradera in a fair and loving way, but unfortunately both girls were now at the age where they were more concerned with socializing and not parenting.

    Gradually, Oradera drifted towards spending most of her time in the Grenah Deen, especially during the rain or snow seasons (her favorite seasons) - where she was known to disappear for weeks at a time. It was there where Oradera forgot all her troubles. And as the years moved on, Oradera was seen less and less and the tales of Oradera - the ugliest fairy, were beginning to grow more and more.
